I’m Ali, the person behind Make It Scotland.

This site grew from my love of exploring every corner of Scotland. For years, I’d been out hiking, photographing places to stay, and discovering the wild beauty of the country. When I started planning my own NC500 trip, I realised there wasn’t an easy way to plan everything in one place. So, with the help of Saint Associates, I set out to build an all-in one site - and that’s how this platform came to life.

My goal has always been simple: to support local businesses, boost the Scottish economy, and help visitors experience what I truly believe is the most breath-taking country in the world.
