Tips for Pumpkin Picking

  • When to go: Most patches open late September and run through October. Weekends book up fastest.

  • Booking: Almost all farms now require online booking. Don’t leave it last minute.

  • What to bring: Wellies, waterproofs, and something to carry your pumpkins in (wheelbarrows are limited at busy times).

  • Extra fun: Many farms also sell gourds, squashes, and autumn décor — so it’s not just about Halloween.
