At the foot of the Gargunnock Hills in Stirlingshire, Leckie Estate is one of the rare places where you can see Loch Lomond, Edinburgh and Stirling all at once. Built mainly from estate-grown timber, each treehouse has been carefully designed to blend into the landscape with minimal impact. Every one is different in style, outlook and elevation, offering four unique hideaways.

The treehouses are self-catered, with fully equipped kitchens, outdoor copper tubs and luxurious bedding. Air-source heating and wood-burning stoves make them a cosy choice all year round. Chiffchaff and Goldfinch have king-size bedrooms, while Wren and Siskin include child-friendly bunk rooms.

Chiffchaff has step-free access and a rustic, barn-like charm. Tucked between a sycamore and old yews, it looks out over the hills and parkland.

Goldfinch sits high in a sycamore tree with a wraparound deck that feels like a nest in the canopy. Inside, it's modern and calm, styled in woodland tones. It’s a peaceful hideout, perfect for couples.

Wren features a bridge over a burn leading to a deck in the trees. Overlooking the pond and hills, it has a clean, Scandinavian feel and soft, natural colours.

Siskin wraps around a 300-year-old oak and overlooks the pond and hills beyond. It comes with a BBQ terrace for evening drinks and dinner. Inside, it’s all about warm cedar, open space and relaxing woodland vibes.

This is a place to truly unwind. Soak in a copper bath, listen to the birds, or book a massage under the trees. If you're after adventure, The Trossachs National Park is just 20 minutes away, packed with lochs, mountains and trails to explore.
