The Dining Room & Menu
The restaurant serves a five-course tasting menu, featuring elevated Scottish ingredients such as hand-dived Skye scallops, Isle of Skye beef carpaccio, seasonal fish from Loch Snizort Beag, and braised belly of lamb.
A Vegan tasting menu is also available - catering to dietary choice with the same commitment to quality.

Whisky Room & Bar Lounge
Off the main dining room lies the intimate Whisky Room, an open-fire lounge bar where guests can unwind before or after dinner. Established local island-whiskies, gin, craft beer and coffee are served here.
Location, Atmosphere & History
Situated in the remote and evocative landscape of northern Skye, Monkstadt 1745 is more than a restaurant - it’s part of island story and landscape.
The lodge overlooks traditional croft land where cattle and sheep roam - your dining view connects you to the land and region.
