Gifted to the city in 1880 by Elizabeth Crombie Duthie, the park has been a cherished retreat for generations. Getting there & parking

Duthie Park is located on Polmuir Road, just a short distance from Aberdeen city centre. While there is limited on-site parking, additional spaces can be found nearby. For those using public transport, several bus routes, including First Bus routes 17 and 18, as well as Stagecoach routes X6, X7, X8, and 204, stop close to the park. Cyclists will find bike racks conveniently located near the David Welch Winter Gardens and the Riverside Drive car park.

Opening hours

  • Duthie Park: Open daily from 8:00 AM until one hour before dusk.

  • David Welch Winter Gardens:

    • March to October: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM

    • November to February: 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM

    • Closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and January 1st & 2nd.
