Luxury Tiny Homes in Northern Skye

Perched above Uig Bay on the Trotternish Peninsula of the Isle of Skye, Fairy Retreat Skye offers a trio of beautifully appointed luxury self-catering tiny homes with panoramic coastal views and easy access to some of the island’s most scenic landscapes. This unique accommodation draws couples and small families who want a comfortable, modern stay with spectacular scenery right on the doorstep.

Sleeping & Layout

Each tiny home sleeps a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children and features an open-plan living and sleeping space.

Sleeping is arranged as follows:

  • A sofa that pulls down into a double bed for adults

  • A double sofa that converts into bunk beds for children, made up of:

    • One small single bunk

    • One upper bunk (maximum weight 70kg)

Please note:

  • The bunk beds are not suitable for adults

  • Occupancy is strictly 2 adults + 2 children maximum

This flexible setup allows the space to function as a living area by day and a comfortable sleeping area by night.

Inside the Tiny Homes

Despite their compact size, the tiny homes are well equipped for a comfortable self-catering stay:

  • Open-plan living/sleeping area with smart storage

  • Small kitchen area with:

    • Mini fridge

    • Microwave

    • Air fryer

    • Kettle and toaster

  • Private bathroom with:

    • Walk-in shower

    • Rainfall shower head

    • Toilet and sink

    • Towel warmer

    • Basic toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner)

  • TV with cable channels

  • Heater for year-round comfort

  • Instant tea and coffee provided

Each unit also includes a luggage storage compartment and a small closet area to keep the space clutter-free.

  • Dogs are not permitted at Fairy Retreat Skye

  • Designed specifically for families with children, not adult groups
