Activities and age suitability

Water activities

  1. White Water Rafting

    Experience the excitement of navigating rapids on some of Scotland’s most challenging rivers. This activity is suitable for participants aged 6 and above, making it ideal for families seeking adventure.

  2. Canyoning

    For those aged 12 and above, canyoning offers an exhilarating journey through natural watercourses, involving jumps, slides, and abseils. It’s perfect for thrill-seekers looking to explore Scotland’s rugged landscapes.

  3. River Tubing

    Navigate narrow shoots, drops, and waterfalls while floating downriver on a specially designed tube. Suitable for individuals aged 12 and above, this activity provides a unique way to experience Scotland’s waterways.

  4. Gorge Walking

    Ideal for families and groups, this activity involves traversing gorges, climbing waterfalls, and swimming in natural pools. It’s suitable for participants aged 8 and above.

Land activities

  1. Quad Biking

    Explore off-road terrains on all-terrain quad bikes. This activity is tailored to the group’s ability and is available year-round, regardless of weather conditions. Participants must be at least 12 years old.

  2. Wee Limits Adventure Academy

    Designed specifically for younger adventurers aged 6 to 12, this program offers a variety of outdoor activities tailored to introduce kids to the thrill of adventure in a safe environment.

  3. Clay pigeon shooting

    Clay pigeon shooting is an exhilarating sport that involves shooting a firearm at flying targets known as clay pigeons or “clays”. Targets are launched into the air, simulating a bird in flight; it’s your job to shoot the target down. The minimum age for this is 12.

  4. Bungee Jumping

    Experience the famous Highland Fling Bungee Jump in Killiecrankie with Nae Limits! Famous for being the only permanent bungee jump location in Scotland, the Highland Fling is a 40-meter free-fall from the River Garry Bridge towards the cool Scottish waters below. You’ll fall at up to 50 miles an hour before being sprung back up towards your spectators at the nearby viewing platform. Minimum age is 14.

  5. Bridge Swing

    You’ll be harnessed up on our jumping platform, 40 meters from the River Garry. You’ll then be dropped into a free fall to around 15 meters from the water below before the rope takes the slack and you’ll accelerate through an arc under the bungee platform where the main anchors are attached. Minimum age is 10.

  6. Paintballing

    Paintball is a great Stag Do activity, a good old shot ‘em up to show them who’s boss, it is also an ideal team building activity for corporate groups or youth groups encouraging communication and teamwork. For your Paintball session you will be equipped with camouflage overalls, safety mask with full face and ear protection, battle packs and a semi-automatic gun. Minimum aged 12.

Team Building

  1. Highland Games

    All are characteristics of Nae Limits Highland Games warriors. And let’s not forget a strong competitive streak. It’s not about taking part, it’s about victory—so gather your clan for a Scottish-style standoff that combines old-fashioned fun and tests your strength, wit and banter. Minimum age 16.

  2. Wilderness

    This team-building experience will test your communication, cooperation and delegating skills making it the ultimate experience to bond a group. Using your knowledge of scavenging, building, crafting, and creating, this challenge will see you and your team traverse streams, mountainsides and forest floors. Learn how to purify water, make shelters, and navigate rivers and forests to see if your team can be the ultimate harmonious unit. Minimum aged 12

  3. Kascadia

    Kascadia is Nae Limit’s ULTIMATE team building challenge. Designed to test your limits and take you out of your comfort zone, Kascadia is comprised of a variety of land and water-based challenges that only the quickest and sharpest will be able to solve. We’ve taken our local gorge and mapped out a serious of land and water-based activities that will test your teamwork and communication skills, with an added edge of adventure. Problem solve and tackle physical elements of the gorge with your team to ensure every member achieves success! This is a truly unique team building experience that requires every member to be in synchronisation to be able to achieve your goals.
